La reacción de los fans y su disolución no se dejaron esperar recibiendo un «Awwww» de parte de todos los que estaban en dicho evento, Obviamente esta reacción trataron de mitigarla informando que es un juego de cartas muy bueno y que intentaría revolucionar el genero de cartas online, pero poco o nada sirvió cuando la gente ya estaba cansada de juegos de cartas inspiradas en franquicias famosas, como Hearsthone, pokemon card, etc..
Luego de unas cuantas Betas y reacciones positivas a lo largo de 2017 y 2018, todo pintaba que valve intentaría remontar con esta disolución que les cargaba desde que anunciaron el juego, todo los medios anunciaban que seria la competencia directa de HEARTHSTONE un juego de cartas creado por blizzard inspirado en su franquicia Warcraft, pero como dije anteriormente poco o nada duro la ilusión de valve al respecto al no conocer a su propio publico.
El juego Artifact por fin salio el 28 de noviembre de 2018, a un precio de 20 dolares, la gente estaba feliz y twitch exploto con este juego y los streamers lo disfrutaban, hasta que empezaron a ver los problemas del juego mas obvio y groseros que a tenido un juego de cartas.
El juego costaba 20 dolares y ese no era el problema principal, el problema comenzó cuando la única forma de conseguir cartas era pagar aun mas no habiendo otra forma de conseguir cartas para este juego.
Y para jugar clasificatorias el modo competitivo mas importante de un juego, necesitabas pagar AUN MAS para comprar Tickets que necesitabas para participar en dichas clasificatorias, en menos de 1 semana el juego cayo en picada de 100.000 usuarios a tan solo 20.000 usuarios diarios.
La manera de conseguir dinero a partir de un juego de cartas inspirado en DOTA fue totalmente abusivo por parte de valve, ya que en el momento que toda acción importante necesitaba dinero era un método de negocio bastante abusivo, no había recompensa por jugar solo por pagar, Obviamente valve inmediatamente en menos de 1 mes arreglo el problema, colocando misiones y recompensando los jugadores con Cartas y tickets gratis que podrías conseguir jugando, pero el Daño ya estaba echo para el jugador.
Artifact comenzó con mal pie, una expectativa demasiado alta para un juego de valve cuando se anuncio y darse cuenta que era un simple juego de caras, y intento recuperarse con las noticias y las pruebas que hicieron con varios jugadores, pero la propia valve cavo la tumba de su propio juego con un método de negocio muy grosero para los jugadores donde se dieron cuenta que valve solo quería dinero y dinero rápido, aprovechándose de la gente que le gustaba Dota.
Al día de hoy Artifact no a podido recuperarse y esta en caída total, se puede considerar un juego zombie, donde actualmente el mes de JULIO DE 2019, a tenido una base de jugadores de 100 hasta solo 30 jugadores al día.
Esperemos que Valve vuelva a hacer como antes y logre entender su comunidad, o volverán a ser solo una simple distribuidora de juegos luego del gran rechazo que tuvieron con su ultimo juego.
